I love the world and the -punk subtype you chose.  However, the "Motions Of The Gears" section confuses me.

It's not mentioned that players are dealt cards, so it was a surprise to me when it's mentioned that they play cards from their hand.  I notice you say, "The greater the total difference between the two, the worse the outcome." Does this apply to over the goal, under it, or both?  If the task is Aligned to a specific suit, can players only play cards of that suit?  Should players keep their cards to themselves, or reveal what they have to other players?

Also, if you need only a singular deck of playing cards for this, what numbers are Jacks, Queens, Kings, and Jokers?  Do Jokers have a suit, or are they considered suit-neutral (if that matters)?  Why would players want to use a Joker to put cards aside?  Also, when the cards the Joker put aside are brought back, are all the cards brought back at once, or are as many cards as the player bringing them in chooses brought back?

I think the chart on the top-left you made is supposed to be a character sheet?  Where are the "boxes" you're talking about?  I don't understand how you're supposed to fill it in at all, I'm so sorry.  If the Os are the boxes, what's to stop a player from filling in all +1s, +2s, and +3s?  Also, what do these ratings affect?  Do they add or subtract to the numbers on the cards?

Finally, I think the chart on the bottom-right is supposed to be explaining how the Stack numbers compare to the Goal, and what that results in gameplay-wise.  But I don't understand why there are two columns of numbers.  Which one do I use.

I love the conceit of this game, and I will take a moment to say that the layout is fabulous; it's impressive that it's condensed all on one page like this, too.  Also, that little yellow cog graphic is a small touch that add so much.  I'm very interested in this game and would like to understand it, hence my comment.

Very cool setting and genre. Reminds me of Iconoclast. I really like the poten-boxes. That really brought the whole idea together for me.

I found the system a bit confusing at first glance, but I think I figured it out. I would make it more clear that going over the goal is also a detriment. I was very confused about why anyone would ever want a negative. When exactly you add your bonus was also a little unclear. It seems like its only the last card played?
