Brachyr System

Welcome to the Brachyr System, and its world of Nasvene.

A ruleset designed to be as modular as necessary without giving up the core tenets;

• You are the measure of yourself.
• The master is only as good as their tools.
• United we stand.

A world where the only chance you have to survive the dangers of the wilds is the tools in your hands and the people by your side. Step into a world built on and born of its magic, a place where the souls of those who pass are magic themselves, and the shape of reality bends to the whims of all that live. A planar realm in the shadow of its greatest mountain, a sunless world beneath a burning sheet. There are two kinds of battle in the Brachyr system; by arms and wit. Debate is just another form of combat, and the world itself can be your opponent in all ways.

This book contains the following sections:

1. An opening fiction.
2. The core rules, presented such that you shouldn't need to turn a page to finish reading a rule.
3. Narrator guide, including reasoning and logic for the primary rules; so you can better understand why it works as it does.
4. A basic bestiary, enough to get you going and plenty of fuel to design your own!
5. An introductory adventure, showing the city of Kwilnir and giving a taste of the basic suite of rules.
6. A basic character sheet.

More rules are on the horizon, intended to plug into these as desired. None necessary, but all part of the design.
